Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Mountain T.O.P., Inc.

We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!

$2,300 towards $2,200

This summer I will be returning to the Mountain as a Service Project Manager, I have been a part of this ministry for five summers as a camper and this will be my second year on staff. Our ministry focuses on improving the lives of countless people of the Cumberland Plateau through our day camp programs, as well as major and minor home repair projects. Each day we send volunteers into the county to work and visit with families and show them God's love through their commitment to service. We strive to meet not only the physical needs of the task at hand, but also the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of this deeply isolated and impoverished community. As a partnership-based organization, we ask each family we work with to contribute what they can to offset the costs of our work in the community.

I would like to offer you the opportunity to be a part of the ministry by becoming a partner with me. As a requirement for my employment I must raise half of my salary and my living expenses for the summer which amounts to $2,200. If you are able to donate, any amount would be a tremendous help. However, I understand that a monetary donation may not be feasible, but I would like to ask for your prayers, so that I may do the work of Christ this summer.

I would like to leave you with the verse Romans 12:4-8 (NIV) “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”

Thank you for your time and support,

Elliott Parsons
