God has some exciting things in store for me this year and I’d love for you to hear about them. I truly appreciate you and how each of you have poured into my life and I want to share my next adventure with you.
On New Year’s Eve, I was asked if I had a word for the year. I didn’t know what to say at first so I spent some time pondering my hopes for 2019. Eventually, I adopted three: Confidence, Community, and Curiosity. I want to learn confidence, find a community, and always follow my curiosities. I accepted a position at Mountain T.O.P (Tennessee Outreach Project) this summer because I feel that working at MTOP would be an amazing opportunity to grow in my words for the year. I am SO looking forward to this time, but I was even more excited to learn that this year’s Mountain T.O.P theme is Courage. It works in my “C” word theme :) I am confident that God is working at Mountain T.O.P. , as I’ve volunteered with my youth group many summers in high school and have seen the impact.
I am reaching out because I want to ask for your support as I work my first summer as a staff member at my favorite place. If you are not familiar with Mountain T.O.P.’s mission, one of the many unique things about Mountain T.O.P. is the preparation I go through in order to work there. Before arriving on the Mountain, I am expected to both spiritually prepare through meditation and scripture reading, as well as, financially prepare by raising half of my salary and living expenses for the summer. The total amount of money I am expected to raise for this summer is $2,100. Please prayerfully consider partnering with me spiritually and financially, as I prepare for this summer of ministry. No contribution is too small, any level of support will be very much appreciated. Whether or not you are able to financially support this ministry, I hope that you will continually pray to sustain the Mountain T.O.P mission.
Your support means the world to me. I am very excited to work at Mountain T.O.P. this summer and to partner with you! Honestly Mountain T.O.P. is one of my favorite places in the world because God works wonders through the people who serve and the families we work with. I am overjoyed by having this chance to work with this wonderful ministry as a staff member.
