Spending last summer on the mountain was just about the most impactful part of my life, and I'm so thankful I've been given the opportunity to come back.
If you're unsure what Mountain T.O.P. (Tennessee Outreach Project) is, it is a volunteer organization located in Grundy county, Tennessee. Their goal is to eliminate substandard housing around the county through volunteer work
This summer I am going to be a Service Project Manager. That means I'll be involved in all of the service projects my staff will have, and I'll be in charge of delivering materials to the correct locations. Seeing as I'm pursuing a degree in construction, this position is going to be right up my alley.
Mountain T.O.P. is a partner ministry. Which means for what they put in, I also have to put in some. Which is the reason for this fundraiser. I'm raising half of my salary, as well as room and board, and in turn, MTOP will pay the other half of my salary and give me an incredible opportunity for this summer.
I'm so excited for this summer, and it would mean a lot to me if you would help by donating. Doing so will give you an option to see what I'm doing over the summer, and I love construction so I'll be taking a lot of pictures.
