Born September 4, 1948, in Ashtabula, Ohio, Donna passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 13, 2023, in Sandia Park, New Mexico. Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Walter. She is survived by her sons; Gary and his wife, Jessica, and Charles and his wife, Lynne, as well as her grandchildren Kayla (23), Corinne (21), Sebastian (20), Dylan (19), Noah (18), and Christian (15).
Donna will be remembered first and foremost as a loving mother and grandmother, but she impacted so many more. Donna spent more than 20 years working in the Palm Beach County (FL) public school system as a Teacher’s Assistant for a multitude of elementary school students where she bettered the lives of her students and her coworkers, many of whom became lifelong friends despite the distance that separated them. Her humility and dedicated service to others were traits that, through her example, were passed on to her sons and grandchildren.
